Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using TJ Travel’s website, services, mobile app, booking platform, or otherwise engaging our transport and rental services (“Services”). By booking, using, or paying for any Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

These Terms apply to:
Child & School Transport Services (scheduled school runs, activity pick-ups/drop-offs, supervised rides).
Car Rental Assistance Services (we arrange vehicle rentals on your behalf, coordinate pick-up/drop-off, and manage inspections and handovers).
Eligibility & Registration
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. For child transport, the person registering must be the child’s parent or legal guardian and provide accurate emergency contacts, authorized pickup persons, and medical/allergy information. You agree to provide truthful, complete, and current information during registration and booking. Bookings, Payments & Fees Bookings are confirmed only after payment or deposit as specified at booking. Service fees, rental costs, taxes, and any third-party charges are payable by the customer. We will provide pricing and estimates; final charges may vary based on supplier or route changes. Payment methods accepted will be listed at booking. Failure to pay may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposits as stated at booking. We may require a reservation fee to secure recurring child transport spaces or rental bookings.
Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation and change policies (deadlines, refunds, late fees) are provided at booking and may differ between child transport and rental services.
Identity, Verification & Documentation
Rental suppliers may require identity verification, a valid driver’s license, and payment verification. You must comply with supplier requirements. We cannot bypass or falsify any verification processes.
For child transport, parents/guardians must provide authorized pick-up lists and any documents reasonably requested for safety or compliance.
Responsibilities & Conduct
Safety, Supervision & Limitations
We use vetted drivers, child-safety procedures, and vehicle checks, but you acknowledge that transport carries inherent risks. Seat belt, child restraint, and local safety laws apply; you must inform us of special restraint needs in advance. Where specialized equipment is required, you may need to provide or approve rental of such equipment. We will attempt to notify you of delays or issues but are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, force majeure, supplier failure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Liability & Insurance
We act as an arranging agent for car rentals and do not assume primary liability for supplier acts or omissions. The rental agreement with the supplier governs vehicle use, insurance, damage, and liability. For child transport, our liability is limited to direct damages caused by our proven negligence. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of income or emotional distress). You are responsible for any damage, fines, tolls, parking fees, or traffic violations incurred during your use of a rental vehicle unless otherwise agreed. You agree to obtain appropriate insurance coverages where applicable and to accept responsibility for deductibles or insurance-excluded losses as provided in the rental agreement.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TJ Travels, its officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of Services, or the acts/omissions of you, your child, or authorized users.
Third-Party Suppliers & Links
Car rentals, vehicle delivery, and some logistics may be provided by third-party suppliers. These suppliers have their own terms and privacy practices which will apply in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or services; disputes with suppliers must be raised promptly through us and/or directly with the supplier as required.
Privacy & Data
We collect, store, and use personal data to provide Services, process payments, and for safety/verification. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. By using our Services you consent to that policy and to communications (e.g., SMS, email) regarding bookings.
Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to Services (including pending bookings) for breach of these Terms, non-payment, unsafe conduct, or where required by suppliers or law. Refunds for terminated services will be handled according to the applicable cancellation policy.
Changes to Services & Terms
We may modify services, schedules, fees, and these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or on our platform. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute will be resolved through the courts of Midrand Magistrate’s Court, unless the parties agree to mediation or arbitration in writing.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms will remain in effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any booking confirmations, rental supplier agreements, and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TJ Travels regarding the Services.

By booking or using our Services you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to any supplier terms that apply to your booking.
